Research Partners
The Partnership was founded in 2008 by five of the South East's leading research establishments. Jointly, Forest Research, the Universities of Reading, Surrey, Sussex and the University for the Creative Arts, set the foundation for the partnership activities. In January 2009, the University of Brighton joined the Partnership as a new member and brought with it Plumpton College, as an associate partner.
Each of the partners brings with them an extensive portfolio of research expertise. The diverse range and combination of research expertise from all six partner institutions sets an ideal starting position to working on practically any topic related to rural sustainability.
